Rowdie's Prayer Request
We are all doing fine. We have received the news today that Jim is laid off from his job. We know that it was Gods will to move here, so our hearts are clear about our call here. We can us prayer though for God to guide us of his plan for Jim. God has blessed our family in this move. I have been offered a job at the school where the boys go to school as an assistant teacher for the two year olds class. It is a new program for the school and they are paying for me to get credited so i can come back next year. I never saw myself as a teacher of any form especially for christian school or two year olds. Everyone of you know that i have no patience. With Gods call to this position he has not only provided patience he has called me to pray with these children and teachers. It is amazing the ladies i work with and i truly love it. But our prayers are for Jim's guidance of Gods plan for him. He is not worried or under any pressure, but wants to be serving his purpose for God it may mean in a few months to go back to work for this company...he maybe lead to something else. Please pray for our family as i know you already do. Love Rowdie

Don't be Spoon Feed = Think for Yourself
Topic 1: "Global Warming" now "Climate Change" get it Right!!
I have been thinking....This is the data information age! Decisions/Conclusions need to be made based on reliable and accurate sources. Al Gore I believe started this "Global Warming" epidemic. Who is Al Gore? A Politician not a scientist so what is his motive...GREED....money....increase taxes...tax the cows? Does that not sound crazy! What would they do to explain all the other "Climate Change" periods of the past...if you believe the Gradualist Theory on why the Dinosaurs became extinct due to "Climate Change" do you tax the Dinosaurs...because their poop gave off methane gas? If you look at the entire history of our plant it has always been "Climate Change" and it has little to do with human activity....and as long as the planet exists there will always be "Climate Change" in our future. Don't get me wrong I am all for taking good care of our planet earth....but to use it as a fear tool to get money....I do not agree with.
I think this is a good web site....it explains a lot...

The Sahara Desert Was Once thought to be Lush and Populated....The Industrial Revolution or "Pollution" of CO2 emissions from cars etc. did not cause this "Climate Change" and other planet changes.

The biggest Hurricane in History occurred in 1900...6,000 to 8,000: Number of people estimated to have died during the storm. The media and politicians like to blame "Global Warning" for our current Hurricane occurrences....like Katrina. Knowing that do you believe that "Global Warming" could have caused the Galveston, Texas Hurricane of 1900?

Think about it! Even recycling ...like paper is not 100% "safe" but it is close...and it is a lot better than not recycling... Not everything can be 100% recycled during/after the recycling process.

To My BFFs (Best Friends Forever)
To my six best friends. I consider them to be my best friends because we have been friends through think and thin...good and bad....and we have overcome the test of time. Thank you all for being there for me....even when I was not myself. I know I have not been myself lately. I am sorry! Please forgive me! I hope to be back to my playful and silly self soon. Thank you for the memories and for taking good care of me. I hope I have done the same for you. I look forward to many more good and fun times together. :)

Happy Sunday
Besides searching for work and substituting I decided I am going to start feeling good about being unemployed...no matter what people say or think. I have been feeling kind of hopeless and worthless and down on myself. I started a few household projects that I have been putting on hold for a long time. I went through my closet and drawers and reorganized my wardrobe. I am almost done with my photo project that I have been wanting to organize. I must have organized 600+ photo prints into photo albums and Sterilite plastic storage containers over the last several days. One photo album held 300 pictures alone. I put that project off for so long that it was soooo overwhelming. That is not like me. I like to get things organized and into "it's" proper spot so I know where things are at when I need them. I like to be prepared! Besides I lose a lot of time in a day just searching for things I can't find...and that adds up per week and per year etc. My next big project is to organize my computer files, folders, and photos. That will probably take about 3 weeks. I have stuff from 2000-2009 to organize. I am not looking forward to doing it but I am looking forward to feeling good about it once it is done. It is going to be a lot of work. This photo project inspired me to work on a cool new post. I hope to get time to work on it tomorrow. Since I have been out of work, I am a lot more computer literate. I taught myself how to create a web site and to create a blog....I know I have a lot more to learn though. I am addicted! :) I love learning how all this techy stuff works. I have a lot of good ideas...and I like to think I am pretty good at it too.

Shoes 4 Soles
While I was at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, TN, I saw this impressive display of kindness...how people are giving to the needy and helping to put smiles on people's faces. I think this is great because even if I don't have money now I can still help in other ways by helping to make a difference in someone's life today. I wanted to share this link with you all so I added their link to the Good News Links on the side of the page.
New Year's Resolution
My New Year's Resolution is to find a safe place where I can be myself so I can feel the joy of intellectual excitement, emotional involvement and physical pleasure.

Happy New Year
Well, how has your New Year been so far? Mine...so far it is just like 08....not good. I had one good opportunity come my way...I thought for sure I was going to get a long-term sub position...I was even at the right place at the right time...and nothing. I find it more and more difficult to keep my spirits up anymore. I did have a good trip to Kentucky to visit one of my best friends. We celebrated the New Year together. Her Husband took us to Nashville, TN for the day. That was a lot of fun. We went shopping at the Opry Mills Mall and went to see the Grinch Ice Exhibit. The entire exhibit was made of ICE!!! That was neat. The temperature was 5 degrees so everyone got an additional blue coat to go over our other coats....burrr!
